Strength guide: Very strong

About 126 bits of possible outputs with these settings. This describes the generator's search space, not a promise about any account's safety.

Character types

Each selected type appears at least once in a generated password.

Only matching characters in the selected types are removed. The exclusions stay on this page.

Generation runs entirely in this browser using cryptographic randomness. Values are not sent or saved by this tool. Avoid reusing the same value on different accounts.

Choosing a useful password

Longer passwords made from a larger set of characters are generally harder to guess. Use a unique password for each account, and keep it in a password manager when possible.

This generator uses your browser’s cryptographic random source. It does not send, save or log the values it creates. A copied value remains on your device’s clipboard until replaced by another item.

Common questions

What is a passphrase?

A passphrase joins randomly selected words. More words add unpredictability; choose a length that matches the account and keep the result private.

Is the strength label a guarantee?

No. It is a guide based on the selected generation settings, not a promise about a particular account’s security.
